Horses have always been a big part of my life. Pleasure riding is my focus.  Harmony is the goal I set for my students.  I have been riding since the age of 6, experiencing all  styles from barrel racing to hunters.  I am always expanding my knowledge of horsemenship as well as the art of Dressage  by attending clinics and seminars.  I graduated from Umass Amherst, from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture with a degree in Equine Industries.  It was there I studied the fine art of Horsemanship from the talented staff at the campus stables, Hadley Farm.

Since graduation I have been instructing in basic balance seat, english and western pleasure, as well as hunt seat. I am a patient teacher that sets obtainable goals for all my students, whether you would like to ride for pleasure or show, I will help you acheive balance and harmony with your horse.  

After years of teaching the basics to beginners,  I have developed a way to break down and explain the skills nessasary for confidence in the saddle.  I created the "ABC's of riding" to clarify the Principles of Riding. With a understanding of these simple principles anyone can ride!
